This auction is bidding on a 1997 1/2oz Chinese Silver Panda coin. This bullion Silver coin contains 
1/2oz of fine Silver (99.9% purity), round in shape, 36 mm in diameter and is legal tender with values of Five Yuan (5元 ).

This Silver panda coin  is GEM BU (with polished and mirror-like surfaces). The Silver coin is issue by the People's Bank of China, minted by Shanghai Mint. The obverse design on the coin features the Hall of Praying for Good Harvest of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, the title of PRC (in Chinese) and year of issuance. The reverse design features an attractive sitting panda and the face value.
