For sale is my Peugeot 306 1.9 D Turbo,
I am selling this car because it needs a little work to get it back to the perfect runner that it was, I had already decided that I was getting a newer car and feel that it would be a waste of money to fix then sell it. I still drive this car every day and it still drives very well. I hit a kurb a couple of weeks ago which bent the lower arm (NOW REPLACED WITH NEW PART), broke the CV joint (NOW REPLACED COMPLETE DRIVESHAFT) and slightly bent the lower arm mount on the subframe. Once there is a new subframe on for the lower arm to mount onto, everything should be running straight again! At the moment the car pulls slightly to the right (the side that was hit) when you accelerate and the steering wheel is a bit off center, may be due to tracking being severly out? another problem is that the middle section of the exhaust has broken off where it joins the back box, the back box is fine though just not on the car.
Best Bits. New Clutch around 500mile ago. (about a month) New battery around 4 months ago. I have full service history and lots of receipts for improvements that have been carried out on the car, mostly done at peugeot garages. The car is lowered 40mm on the front and the same on the back on 'spax' springs, shocks and dampers on the rear. It has meridian side skirts from the phase 2/3 top of the range 306, It has GTI spoiler, Smoothed de-badged front grille and de-badged bonnet, half leather interior from GTI-6 Alloy wheels, (NOT THE WHITE ONES THAT ARE ON THE CAR IN THE PICTURES, THE STANDARD PEUGEOT ONES THAT THERE IS A PICTURE OF) Fog lights,
There is 2 1/2 months tax left on the car and 7 months MOT (Feb 09)
This could really be a good runner for someone with a little knowledge and time to spend on putting it right as mechanically it is sound.
Im happy to receive cash upon collection of the car.
Any questions you may please feel free to ring me (Chris) on 07988733486 Happy bidding for a superb looking car.
I reserve the right to end this auction early should i selt the car elsewhere.
