This is a good running Peugeot 306 1.9 TDi 1996 which has served me well but new car forces sale of this one :(
I have used this car daily traveling to work and back 270miles every week for the past 18 months and it drives lovely on the motorway, country lanes and town driving.
Passed its MOT last week with no advisories so you have 12 months MOT along with 3 months TAX so its ready to drive away.
Key code immobilizer so can only be started when the code is typed in
starts first time every time even after it stands for a week
Lexus style rear lights which are MOT approved
Low insurance group so ideal for new or young drivers and even previously banned drivers ;)
Standard alloy wheels are only 12 months old as replaced the old worn ones (all 4) even got an alloy wheel for a spare :) also all tyres have been replaced within the last 12 months
Body work is in good condition for age of car with no rust, nothing major or very noticeable
interior is in good condition apart from a rip on the driver seat, I put the seat covers in to smarten the car up with matching mats front and rear, steering wheel cover, seat belt pads and the gear stick leather cover
Electric front windows and electric sunroof all in good working order
Adjustable steering column up and down which I have just found out about ha ha!
The stereo is a JVC single CD player with radio and ministry of sound speakers built into the parcel shelf to the original positioning and wiring of the standard speakers, front speakers are currently disconnected.
As i am in graphics and a big Tazmanian Devil fan there is a wicked window vinyl of Taz flicking the birdy and a PEUGEOT vinyl above him in the back window. These can easily be removed by just simply peeling them off.
Right lets list the Problems:
Airbag light stays on for the simple fact my friend had short legs so when putting the seat forward to accommodate her shortness she strained the wire but have not got round to fixing this as i have been advised the airbag is still functional.
Crease in the passenger door as shown in the photo's due to a break in where they stole my stereo which I have replaced for the sale of the vehicle. the door is now fine, it shuts and locks but obviously the paintwork is crumbled around the crease.
Doors don't stay open on their own so will have to held open due to wear and tear
Also the remote central locking is no longer functional but not sure why so could just be a battery at the end of the day, but standard central locking does work when using the key in the lock :)
Fogs lights and rear wiper missing due to some thief taking parts off my car one by one to rebuild their Peugeot the buggers!! so unfortunately I have not replaced them for fear of it happening again.
This will be a good buy for anyone interested in Peugeots, I will miss it deeply :(
Millage is correct of date of photo which was Wednesday 16th July but as previously stated I do lots of miles to and from work but car is now parked up ready for sale.
