Kawasaki ZX1100 D5

This auction is for my 1996 ZZR1100 which was imported from America I believe in 2000 hence the livery in ZX chrome but all the dials are in miles,

She’s in LUMINOUS WINSOR GREEN (dark metallic green) which looks absolutely amazing.

I have owned this bike since Feb 07, I previously failed to buy her from a friend in 2006; it has been within my circle of ‘biker friends’ for a few years so I knew what I was buying.

I have all the MOT’s from 2000 apart from one so the mileage is genuine, I don’t have a service book but the last 3 owners were all motor engineers so she has been serviced regularly (your just have to take my word for that)

Recently she has had:

Oil & Filter

Battery (2 weeks ago)

Front Tyre

Water pump

Gear Change Shaft Bush

There’s not much MOT left only until 24/08/08 but I don’t have any worries there as it’s gone through the last 2 without a problem and I’ve only covered 900 miles this year, the road fund expires November 2008.

I have only ever used her as a weekend tool going to the odd BSB and British GP so she doesn’t go far.

Overall she is in excellent condition for a 12 year old, she has the usual stone clips on the fairing and the mirrors, these have been touched up and to be fair you have to get pretty close to notice. There is a very slight crack to the fairing (normal ZZR) which is covered by Rossi’s number 46 and has been like this for as long as I can remember! Also she has just developed a very slight oil leak, I only noticed the last time I used her has it had a drip on the exhaust and burnt it off but thought Id better mention it.

I’ll be sad to see her go but new bike in the garage and the wife’s on my case!!!
