THE GOOD BIT: Kawasaki ZX6R F2. First registered August 1996. One previous owner. I have owned the bike since 2001. I have all the previous MOT certificates, and the bike has been serviced at 4012, 6062, 11090, 14322, 17286 and 22891 miles by Daytona Motorcycles. The current mileage is 23736. It was MOT'd 700 miles ago. THE BAD BIT: This bike needs some work and lots of TLC. The bike has been in a slow speed accident (side-swiped by a taxi - 15mph at most) which resulted in cracked upper and lower front fairings. These cracks have been patched over, but will need repairing properly to win any beauty competitions! They is also a chip in the headlight. Some slight scuffing on the exhaust has been repaired. Forks, frame, engine and all rear bodywork is OK. The bike starts first time and runs, however, it has been unused for the last two and a half years and needs a good check before getting back on the road ( I went travelling for a year, and when I returned I bought a brand-new R1). The bike therefore has no MOT. THE SUMMARY: A good opportunity for someone with a half-decent mechanical mind, and some sand-paper and spray paint! Who more importantly wants a cheap 600 sports bike!
