Hi their for sale is my 1996 Jaguar X300 4.0Ltr straight six Sovereign which is running on LPG. I have owned this vehicle since April of this year but before this it belonged to a retired gentlemen who was a customer of mine and he brought the vehicle back in 2004 and i have maintained it in our workshops since for him. It had got too the point where it needed quite alot of work carring out on it and it had several running problems so he decided he could`nt afford to run it any more but he did`nt want it to be scrapped i so decided i would take on the car and fix all the issues on it, i was planning to keep it for my self but i have just taken on another project. In 2007 the car was converted to run on LPG this was a professional installation using a multipoint sequential injection system, it has a 95Ltr tank fitted in the spare tyre well which gives it a range on LPG of around 240 miles and an average price comparitive fuel economy of 38MPG. Since being converted the car has done 22,000 miles. The car has just had a full service entailing new engine oil and filter, new performance air filter, new petrol filter, new spark plugs etc. The LPG system has just had its annual service and safety check and the reducer was fully rebuilt. The car now has 12 months MOT on it and is running perfectly on both fuels. I think it will now be easier if i just list all the parts i have replaced since April so here goes:- 2 New front tyres New electric ariel mast New front upper shock absorber rubbers New front brake discs & pads New alternator New Jaguar badged wheel center caps New number plates and chrome surrounds New interior mats New chrome mirror covers 2 New engine electrical senors 2 New track rod ends Also last year it had a new water pump and thermostat and both Lambda sensors were replaced. Both the front and rear bumpers have been professionally repainted to as new conditon. I think i have listed every thing, so as you can see this Jag is now in great condition it has all the usual spec and really is a great car to drive once again.
