This is my own Truck which i acquired in July 2003 and has been in every day use since. The Vehicle was bought as a Category C damaged vehicle with the lightest of damage to the offside doors and front wing and light suspension damage, which have all been repaired to a good standard.The Log Book is in my name and is registered for the U.K. The Truck has now covered 137.400 miles and although it is still solid with excellent bodywork showing no rust etc, it is showing it's age and is best described as tatty all round.
It has a good Engine. starts first time and idles like a dream with no knocks or rattles
The Catalytic Converter has expired and will need replacing although it sailed through it's last MOT without it, but at higher revs it has a bit of a flat spot as the computer tries to alter the fuel mix to run cleaner
Although the Brakes are all in good order, the ABS warning light has now started to come on, so will need a new sensor.
The Heater has sprung a leak so will need repair/replacing.
Alloys will need a refurb.
The air con is not working, has been like this since i owned it, but you can control all the windows from the Driver's seat!
On the brighter side the Truck has had numerous new parts including, from most recent, Battery, 1 Oxygen sensor, Wiper Motor, Front windscreen, Starter Motor, Front Shock Absorbers, plugs cap and leads, air filter and the front suspension has new ball joints etc.
Although the Truck is in need of attention it would be a real shame to brake it, as it is solid, ultra reliable and would do another hundred thousand miles even with all it's faults.
