RE-LISTED DUE TO PREVIOUS BUYER HAVING PERSONAL PROBLEMS

This was my husbands commuter bike.

It's been ridden all year round covering approx 60 miles a day and never failed him until 2 weeks ago. The MOT is due on 08/06/08 and it's taxed till July 08.

Now I'll expalin the condition.

When we bought it the fairing was loose and upon further inspection we found the bracket that holds it altogether was broken (I have included a photo), new from BMW approx £100.00 or if your a really good welder or know someone who is then it may be repairable. There are cracks in the fairing.

It comes with stereo (never tried it but was assured it works), Top box and both side panniers, all the usual BMW gadgets.

It comes with a stack of paperwork including it's conversion from a police bike.

Now the problem, 2 weeks ago my husband arrived at work turned the bike off and it started again on it's own, in his efforts to stop the bike from starting he snapped the clutch cable (approx £18 new from BMW). Eventually after taking the fuse box out and disconnecting the battery it finally stopped. We have since found the problem to be the starter relay has fused open (approx £5 new from BMW) apparently a common problem with the 'K' series due to the battery so it may need a new battery (approx £200 from BMW)

The reason were selling, at the time we had no idea what was wrong, BMW had no idea and said bring it in, (yeah at £70 an hour) so we have bought another commuter bike, which as it's a sports bike is much more fun!!

So hence the BMW is up for sale, like I said until the above problem it has not dropped a beat and has been ridden in all weathers. Shame for it to go but got to keep him happy!!
