1996 BMW COUPE 318iS

hi people this is my action for my bmw e36 1.8 coupe.she has covered just over 150k tested till july 2010 taxed till february 2010.metalic grey paint in overall very good condition.a few marks from everyday driving (stone chips,very light scratches) but nothing major and is expected considering shes almost 14 yrs old.in fact id go as far as saying find a better n reg car than this.it is totally standard and drives really well as youd expect from a bmw.

There are a couple of bad bits id like to point out,i kerbed the front wheel and have had to put the spare on,been told by a garage today that it would cost around 30quid to  get refurbed but as im selling the car i dont see pint getting this done so ill leave it to the winning bidder.

i have also had the tracking checked to make sure there was no damage and everything was ok.

a bit of wear n tear on the gearstick gaiter(see pic)

a small dent on roof,this was done when i bought the car but never got round to having it pulled out.but again been told that its an easy repair job with a plunger.

there is a bit of rust on back archs but its just the paint,not the actual body work underneath so would probably need someone whos good with an aerosol and this would be perfect.

the exhaust is blowing slightly at the join,been told the clamp may have slipped over time,but nothing to worry about as the exhaust system is only 2 years old.

For the last mot i had three new tyres.both rear brake flex's.both bottom arm bushes.(P bushes,common fault on these cars ive been told.)rear number plate bulb.

serviced 4k miles ago.

all brakes,disks,calipers all ok,as i had all the brake sysatem completly flushed and replaced with new fluid and everything that was needed whilst the brake flex's were off and been changed.

also had the fuel injection system cleaned and new titanium plugs fitted.

starts 1st time evry time.

the only reason im selling this car is because my girlfriend wants a smaller car for the school run as i dont really use this as i have a work van.so i will not accept any stupid offers as im not desperate to sell and id rather keep it than give it away.

 i forgot to mention that i have taken the boot spoiler off as i was going to have it relaquered but i've not had the time to get this done,there is nothing wrong with the spoiler apart from the laquer fading,and will be included in the sale.whilst this is off  there a 2 small screw holes were this spoiler fastens to the boot.but dont lett this put you off as soon as the spoiler is on its a very smooth fitment.

also 1 of the rear indicator lights is of the different type,the original ones are the ones with the clear indicator,just like the front and side repeaters but the rear back light on the passenger side was damaged by somebody that i have yet to find out.i just put the 1st light on that i could find at the time,but as i say please dont let this put you off because a bit of tlc and a bit of money this car would probably be the best bmw coupe on this year and been told by an enthusiast that these will be future classics as this is the beloved 1.8iS,not the basic 1.8 i.
