Here for auction is my 1995 Rover 827 Sterling, it is NOT listed elsewhere so it will NOT be withdrawn. It will be sold to the highest bidder here on eBay, it has a modest but not unrealistic reserve!
It will be sold with a FULL 12 MONTHS MOT, at time of listing it is currently being prepped and as there are no mechanical faults it will fly through. The bodywork is in overall good condition and is commensurate with it's age with 95,000 genuine miles on the clock.
The car as you would expect drives lovely, the outstanding Honda V6 engine starts first time and everytime, gear changing through the auto box is very smooth indeed, braking is excellent and tyres have good tread.
Lots of paperwork available, it's previous 2 owners had the car from new and were father and son and it has been well looked after.
All electric windows, mirrors, seats and sunroof work perfectly as does the central locking. The car is fitted with standard Rover digital radio/cassette.
The interior is in very good condition too the leather seats make for a very comfortable and luxurious driving experience.
There are minor (and I do mean minor) bits of bubbling rust to front wheel arches - I have shown these in the photos and a patch on the n/s/r passenger door that has been there when I bought it 12 months ago - it is easily repairable but to be absolutely honest it has never really bothered me so I never got round to putting it right - I have tried to pick this out on the photos but it is rather difficult to spot. The heater blower only works on setting 3 due to a faulty resistor pack, I have a replacement pack and this will be supplied for the buyer to fit. The only work done on this car over the last year is replacing lower ball joints (the only advisory from the 2007 MOT) and a replacement rear light bulb (!).
It would literally just take an afternoons work and a bit of TLC to get this car bang on and I have the colour coded primer and paint (Tahiti Blue) to supply too - naturally this will be F.O.C.
