I bought this car back in January when as the result of a rugby injury I needed the use of an automatic car. The car has to be honest found a place in my heart as it is a magnificent car and an absolute pleasure to drive but I simply cannot justify keeping it. Therefore it is up for sale.
I cannot say I know the car inside out, I bought it as it is in very good condition and suited my purpose. To my knowledge everything on the car works as it should. The car starts on the button everytime, runs as smoothly as you could expect and has no knocks or rattles at all. The cars bodywork is in lovely condition and it looks better in the flesh than it does in the pictures. The colour is stunning and is complimented by a nearly immaculate leather interior. All the electric seats, windows, roof, mirrors, ariel etc work as they should. Entry to the car is via a plip key which again works fully, operating the alarm, immobiliser and central locking. The car has virtually new tyres all round and the alloys are in good condition.
I recently drove a five hundred mile round trip with no issues or fuss whatsoever so I am happy this is an honest and genuinely well looked after car. It is also a little special having that Jaguar sense of occassion that until now I did not understand but now fully appreciate. I would say this car totally belies its age and looks well in any situation.
When I bought the car it was without any history at all, I bought it on face value due to its condition as it had obviously been very well looked after. In conversation after I had bought the car the chap I bought it from told me it had had a full service history when he bought it but this was unfortunately never passed on, so he sold it with no history and thus I am doing the same. As stated the car really does speak for itself and i have no reason to doubt it does not have a service history somewhere, possibly with Jaguar.
There are a few small knocks and scratches in places but nothing of any particular note and nothing out of the ordinary for the cars age. Truth is the car looks stunning but I am trying to be honestly objective. If I was keeping the car there is a small scrape on the rear near side bumper corner that I would have repaired as with that done the car would look immaculate. My only other issue is that I think the air conditioning needs to be regassed as it is not cold as it was. Other than that there is nothing elese I would do.
So there you have it, a car that looks every bit as expensive as any modern Jaguar, that wants for nothing and will be very affordable. An inspection would be warmly welcomed and Iam contactable on 07799 143421 should you have any questions.
