Various Scottish islands have for many years issued their own postage stamps to be used by locals and tourists to get their post to the mainland and into the official postal system.  Collecting them has become a hobby in its own right for philatelists under the heading of Local Issues. 

This set which is in mint condition, was issued by Gairsay, in the Orkney Islands to commemorate the FA Cup Finals. 

They will make an unusual and interesting addition to any collection of soccer memorabilia and would look superb when framed or placed in an album!
