You are bidding for our much-loved but no longer required Volvo 850 T5 Auto Estate, with 7 seats, that we have owned for just over 10 years (first owner 4 years then PXd to dealer) and which has been very reliable and never let us down. The car has (at time of insertion) done 99,738 miles, which by Volvo standards is barely run-in - this is a genuine mileage as the service record, MOT certificates and service invoices will testify. The MOT runs until July 19th and it is taxed until July 31st - between the service record book and the service invoices the history is complete, mostly serviced at main dealer with a couple latterly at good independent garages. As a motorway cruiser this car is one of the best, with effortless overtaking and the torque to embarass most vehicles it encounters, especially on long, uphill drags - driven with a modicum of good sense and keeping to the speed limits it returns around 35mpg on the drive to Scotland that it does each year. Around town it is a comfortable, quiet and private environment thanks to the tinted windows (front and rear windows untinted - the latter as it was replaced recently after breakage) - off the mark with the auto-box in SPORT mode it will still terrorise most GTIs. The seats are black leather (drivers & passengers are heated), and in the rear the arm-rest is also a built in child seat (see photo). In the boot there are the two additional seats that fold-away to make the huge flat load-space that Volvos are famed for. The tyres are all in good condition with 7-8mm of tread which will see them through several thousand more miles. With the 7-seats you get a space-saver spare wheel as standard, however we also have a genuine spare wheel (same 5-spoke "turbine-blade" alloy) with tyre that will be included in the sale. The car is in reasonable condition given it's age however the air-con does need a recharge (Kwik-Fit £44.95 with no charge if fails to result in cooling), the glove-box latch needs to be repaired, drivers door trim strip is missing, boot-lid lining trim is missing and there are a couple of minor scratches and dents on the bumpers and doors.
