Mark 3 Golf 2.0 16V M*** DHR
I have owned this car for the last 2 years, has been lovingly looked after and sensibly upgraded to overcome the
Mark 3's factory faults!! ie the suspension and exhaust!
I have added things here and there to make it more as I think VW should have made it!!
I am a Club GTI member and genuine VW enthusiast

Replacement Parts
New clutch kit fitted July 6th '08
New Crank Position Sensor fitted June '07
New starter motor fitted last year
New tensioner pulley along with Alternator belt and Power Steering belt fitted late '07
New Water Pump fitted early '07
Cam Belt + Tensioner kit fitted around 98,000miles
New pair of Lower arms and anti roll bar links fitted winter '07
Front discs and pads along with rear discs and pads fitted June '08
Rear wheel bearings fitted June '08

BMC Carbon fibre induction kit with Samco hoses

Hella Mark 4 style headlamps (NOT angel eyes!)

Bad Points
Nearside front splitter split due to unfortunate confrontation with rather large pussy cat (pussy cat is fine tho!!)
Small patch of rust round rear wiper and VW badge on boot (common fault)
Small bubble of rust on bonnet approx 1cm round (See pic)
Small patch of rust at bottom of drivers door
Nearside electric window works but only moves 4" at a time! Requires multiple button presses
to lower, sounds worse than it actually is and doesn't affect its operation too much

Please bear in mind that this is 14 year old car and, although it has a few bad points, I believe that overall its in better than average condition!

The alloys are currently sprayed black and there are a couple of badish quality pics included to show how it looks now
