I am offering for sale my Isuzu Bighorn. It has an excellent range of extras, including aircon, climate control, all leather seats, heated seats and mirrors, Lotus handling package, power seat adjustment, folding mirrors and so on. You wouldn't think this car was manufactured in 1994!
It was imported in 2005 and I bought it in early 2007. It is taxed and has a long Mot. The two front tyres are new and the rear tyres are good. The inside is very clean, with Isuzu heavy rubber floor-mats, and the outside is good with light wear appropriate to its age.
When I bought the car I don't think it had ever been off tarmac or towed anything, it was totally immaculate. I towed with it only once when my new car broke down! I spent last summer living and working in Spain at a centre in the mountains, so I needed a good reliable vehicle which would cope with dirt roads and occasional heavy rain, and it really fit the bill. I drove down through Spain with a full load of office and household stuff and got 35mpg all the way, with some city driving and much main road cruising. When we got there it was perfect for the job and travelled unsurfaced roads every day. We drove back all the way and since September it's been my city runabout in Plymouth.
This car is a great all-purpose vehicle, with seven front-facing seats, all leather, all with seat belts. It will carry a large load, and yet is quite economical running around town. It is a reliable workhorse, and would be great if you live up a track or unmade drive as I did for 6 months, as it seems pretty well unbreakable according to my garage man.
The bad bits: the outside was immaculate when I bought it, I would describe it as very good now but it is lightly scuffed and has a small dent in the rear wing. I have receipts for a service in Spring last year, and I had the oil and filter changed last autumn, so it could now do with a service. That's it!
I love this car, it's great fun and very easy to drive even around town, with a commanding driving position and is very stress-free on a long run. My wife, who's only four feet ten, borrows it to drive to the Midlands instead of her Fiesta! I'll be very sorry to part with it, but I work mainly from home and I live in the centre of a city where the bus costs less than the car park, and having a car each makes no sense.
Chelsea tractor or farm tractor, this vehicle will do it! Come and have a look and I think you'll love it. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have.
Car is advertised elsewhere, so may be withdrawn before the end of sale.
