This is my 1992 K reg Suzuki Swift GTI. I have owned it for over four years and it has never let me down. It has MOT until 19th May 2008 and tax until end of the month. I put it through MOT yesterday and it failed on:
1 Horn does not function
2 Nearside headlamp aim too far to the right
3 Service break efficiency below requirements
4 Parking break efficiency below requirements
5 Nearside front vehicle structure excessive corrosion
6 Offside front vehicle structure excessive corrosion.
Added to these points there is a bit of cosmetic rust on the corner of the roof and wheel arches and a dent by the petrol cap.
The engine is sound, pulls well and starts first time. Exhaust system fine and sounds great (loud in true swift gti fashion). Gear box fine. clutch fine etc etc
The interior is really clean with the bucket seats and the original swift floor mats.
I don't want to spend the money on the welding so that is why she is here up for grabs. The car is at my parents house in Stubbington near Fareham if you want to view. Please feel free to ask any questions.
This is a quick auction to end before the 19th so that you can drive it away legally if you can pick it up quickly. Sold as seen. Paypal or Cash on collection.
The reserve is set at £110 as that is what a local scrap yard has offered me. Obviously I would like to get a bit more as these little pocket rockets are becoming quite rare.

On 16-May-08 at 22:32:11 BST, seller added the following information:Had loads of questions about the swift so I just wanted to add a few more pics to show the condition of the car. There are the points listed before and here are a few more which I had forgotten as I have lived with them for so long
Light rust along the front edge of the bonnet
Stone chip in the near side headlamp (only noticed this week and apparently not an mot fail)
Cracked top mounting of headlight - not visible with bonnet closed (done by previous owner)
Cracked/broken front nearside fog light (done by previous owner)
Front nearside bumper very slightly bent (done by previous owner)
Electric windows work but are a bit slow and tired.
It has an induction kit fitted
It has Nissan alloy wheels fitted and also comes with the original steel wheels
Radiator is only 2 months old and cost £80
HT leads and dist cap only 2 months old and cost £60
In my opinion the car needs the MOT fails addressing, a bit of time and TLC given to the body work and a couple of parts like the fog light finding on ebay and you will have a great little motor which will still turn heads. Just wanted to be as honest as possible as there was so much interest.
