For sale is my Nissan 200 SX. 1.8 Turbo. It has been in the family for many years and has always been very reliable. Its in good condition for the year and mileage.
I am selling it as a non-runner as I lent it to a friend, who is not very mechanically minded, and he overheated it. It no longer starts or runs. These are the symptoms as described by him: He was driving it along the motorway when a lot of steam came from under the bonnet and the car stopped so he pulled over onto the hard shoulder. He waited a while for it to cool down and drove it home gently (about another 10 miles). Just as he approached home it started to get hot and steam came from under the bonnet again. Anyway he managed to coax it home and put it on the drive. I can no longer get it to start and have flattened the battery in the attempt.
The car has nearly a years MOT as I had just got a new MOT on it. I thought it would give me a few more years service until this happened! MOT till 05 October 2010, Tax until 31/03/10. The car is in good mechanical condition besides the engine problem. It would make a good drift/race car or a reliable road car if repaired. I don't have the time or knowledge to do it myself so I am selling it on to put the money towards another car.
The car has a Motorola Bluetooth Hands Free kit built in also.
The winning bidder will obviously have to tow/trailer it away.
