Vauxhall Cavalier GSi 2000 16v with red top engine selling for spares or repair. I've owned this car for around 15 years but it's been off the road (dry stored in the garage) for the last 5 years. The car was taken off the road to repair the rear wheel arches and off side rear chassis leg but I never managed to complete the repairs and I now need the space (my dad wants the use of his garage again!). The car is complete with all 5 genuine GSi alloys plus a steel spare, full GSi bodykit (including the parts removed in the photos), 2 brand new rear arches which I bought 5 years ago but never fitted. The Recaro interior is in excellent condition with just one mark on the drivers seat, all 4 electric windows work, the electric sunroof works, all other electrics even the headlight wipers work. The car also has a tow-bar with full electrics fitted.
The car has only covered 95,173 miles and despite standing for 5 years after the battery was charged the engine started first time and the car drove without any problems, no siezed brakes. The car is far too good to break but there is some work required to the rear arches and chassis leg to prepare it for an MOT.
The car has had new rear discs and pads and also a new fuel pressue regulator and also new fuel tank support straps.
Although the car will start and drive it will need to be trailered away due to the lack of tax and MOT. I don't have the time to break the car myself and anyone wishing to view the car before bidding is more than welcome to do so.
