1990 Penny Black Miniature Sheet No. 6.

Increasingly popular British Post Office Mini Sheets.

This miniature sheet was originally sold at £1.00, the premium being used for the 'Stamp World London 90' International Stamp exhibition. Only the example of the 20p is perforated.

Rowland Hill inaugurated the Uniform Penny Postage on the 10 January 1840. This major postal reform was the culmination of years of persuasion and preparation. The rate was 1d per ½oz anywhere in the British Isles.

Issue Date: 3rd May 1990.

In excellent unmounted mint condition.
