For sale is my beloved ZX-10 B2 with less than 6000 genuine miles on the clock from new due to emigration

It is an import,it was first registered in 2004 in the UK by the now defunct Bike Direct in Bristol

It sat for many years on display at a small dealership on Japan

Bike direct bought all the stock when the dealership closed down as there were quite a few new/old bikes mainly big Kawasaki's

It has 1 previous keeper who paid the deposit to Bike direct for it but never collected it!

I bought it in 2005 with 157 miles on the clock and have kept and used it  untill now

It now has 5100 miles on the clock and will be about 5500 by the end of the auction as I intend to have a few last rides on it.

I have spent a lot more time maintaining it than riding it!

I work offshore overseas and I also mothball it in winter hence the very small mileage

It is virtually brand new

It has allways been garaged and has only been used in the rain once

It has never been dropped

It is fully serviced and ready to go

I have just re-commisioned it after it's long winter lay up (6 months)

It has new metzeler road tec's  fitted(about 300 miles ago),A new genuine Yuasa battery is fitted,Engine oil and filter have been recently changed,fuel filter has recently been changed(genuine Kawasaki),the fairly new genuine Kawasaki air filter has been re- oiled,all cables and suspension has been lubed and clutch and brake fluid have been changed,fork oil has been recently changed,all supension links have been lubed,carbs balanced etc etc.I have also in the past changed the coolant.

All fluids/filters are top quality well known brands and I have receipts for most.

Its fully serviced and is ready to go,it needs nothing but use!

I have just put 6 months rad tax on it and it will have a new 12 months mot on it before the end of the auction

It is mechanically better than new and cosmetically it is superb also

The carbs balance very nicely and the valves are well in tolerance,it runs very very smoothly and pulls like a train!

It has a couple of very small stress cracks in the fairing however they happened in the first 1000 miles and have been plastic welded inside and have never grown since and no more have appeared

They are almost immpossible to see,I would have to point them out to anyone who wants a look

The bike is standard except for an oxford tax safe and a tank protector pad fitted at the back of the tank.

There is no corrosion present the bike looks almost like new even though it's 20 years old!

I have all the paperwork for the bike including all old mot's the owners manual and toolkit,I also have old  from bike magazines and kawasaki  promotional material from when the bike was launched,all this will all be included with the bike.

The bike costs me 70 quid a year to insure,this is a full  137 BHP ZX-10,it is not the restricted version.

The speedo has a gear box on the rear and has been converted to read in MPH it also has a calibration certificate

It you want one of these 1980's bruisers I would be suprised if you could find a better one as it is totally over maintained and under used

Any inspection is wellcome but no test rides,If you are happy bring your riding gear and I will take you for a 20-30 mile varied test run if the weather is ok

Im also happy to strip body work off with you if you want to look underneath all the plastic

I'm only putting it on ebay one time, if you want it bid your maximum in the auction,please do not contact me afterwards if it does not reach reserve

Do not ask me the reserve,it is less than 2k that is all I will reveal

I have 2 people interested locally in the bike and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if I sell it before the end of the auction

Please do not ask me what I want for the bike,you can make me an offer during the auction if you want to and I will say yes or no, simple.

This is a cash on collection item only from worcester in the midlands

I would like the bike collected reasonably quickly after the auction

I may be able to ride it to a UK mainland destination if you will pay my expenses for the round trip,I'm open to discusion on this,besides it's one last ride for me!

It is a virtually new 80's muscle bike and attracts much attention any place you go due to it's condition

A superb time warp bike,you don't see this sort of thing everyday thats for sure not even on ebay

Note just had 12 months new mot put on the bike today now valid until May 7th 2009
