1988 VW Golf GTI 8V MK2 3 Door Metallic Blue.
Registration number E 404 MAD
For sale is my Mk2 Golf GTI. I will be very sad to see her go. I have owned the car for over 2 years and she has never let me down. Used daily and regularly serviced and Maintained.
Lots of service receipts, has recently passed an MOT,
Recent work includes:-
Serviced.
Timing belt changed.
Clutch cable renewed.
Handbrake cable renewed.
New rear brake caliper.
Bad Bits:-
Small dent with chipped paint above passengers door.
Small dent in bonnet. (see photo)
Few small rust spots coming though on boot .
Passenger door handle stiff to open.
Small wear patch on drivers seat.
Battery charging light occasionally flickers
There are a few subtle mods:- There is a k+n induction kit fitted, and the ECU has been chipped. The alloy wheels are not standard and there is an aftermarket CD player. O ther than this I think the car is standard.
This car is not perfect but overall this is a very nice example of a future classic. Fantastic to drive, lots of torque and handles superbly. I hope the buyer of this car is as happy with this car as I have been.
I have been told that this was a special edition, one of only 300 Made.
