hi and welcome to my aution for a honda vfr400 nc24.68000km

This bike was a fantastic bike all the way up to last month.when it stopped working propaly.

what happend was , i left work on friday and rode home it was great, on sunday i was going to go for a ride and it would not start right.

i took the tank and air filter off and it started straight away, put it all back together and it would not start again.i think it could be a carb problem.it sounds like it is flooding itself.

the body work could do with a fair bit of work,there is a few cracks and it could do with a respray.

the tyres are fine and it has new front and rear pads and the disks are fine aswell.

this would make a great project for someone who knows what they are doing.

as i said this was a great bike and never let me down before.it was still doing 120 mph and it still corners fantastic.

i have been as honest as possible .

Dear clinty1305, hi there for the general information of this bike i was the original owner who sold it to scotty in alvaston who you brought it of in febuary just to let you know the bike has a problem with the choke even when there is a cable fitted correctly the choke can and will engage/disengage itself and can still stick on now and again and its near on impossible to get at the linkage on the carbs but it is possible with a very very long screwdriver and alot of paitents hope this helps you to sel it and not put people of as this bike served me well and when set up right could take me of the clock feel frre to put this message onto your listing - daisychain_2005

this message was just sent to me.and i have just found a spair pair of reconditioned front disc and a haynes manual for the nc 30.these will of course go with the bike.

hi again sorry to keep going on ,i have just been out to the bike fisrt time in a few days and it started first time ran for about 5 mins and then died,it still sounds great no funny knocks,oh yes it has a full alarm and imoboliser but it will not turn of so i had to disconect it.
