For Sale my TVR. Dont want to part but its either this or the bike.

Its a 1985 2.8i Tasmin Coupe. Its done just under 75K miles. Its British racing Green but with a small fleck in the paintwork. Ive owned it for about 4/5 years and driven it less than I should have.

For those of you not in the know this is an early TVR from the days when TVR were still using other parts besides their own. As a consequence this is pretty reliable car. Its got the Ford V6 Cologne engine (bombproof) and the top end was rebuilt about 2 years ago and it runs and sounds lovely. The bodwork is fibreglass so no rust but some stone chips. The chassis as such is made from tubular steel - really light and rust resistant. Its got inboard brakes on a Jag Axle - (all standard parts).This has got a buff coloured fully leather interior with wood veneer dash and trim - some of the veneer is cracked with age - I always meant to replace. Brown carpets. The seats are immaculate and new to the car as the others were worn. The leather on the handbrake and gearleaver shows signs of use and there is a small mark where the top layer of the leather has gone on the centre console - my finger points to the mark. It has stainless steel exhausts and is heat shielded underneath. The only fault is that the headlight motors have gone and need replacing - ive got the part number - but I never bothered I quite like it as it is lights up. It drives like a dream and feels bloody fast.

Ive just put a new MOT on it with no problems so its ready to drive. Its currently on SORN as I only use in the summer. Its always been dry stored. Its insurable as a classic car and is fitted with the obligatory alarm and immobiliser (cobra)and the coupe version was way rarer than the soft top.

Ive got a wealth of old mots, bills and the original owners manual and service record. Ive got all the details of parts used to make it and im happy to have any inspection and answer any questions.

Dont really mind how you pay but £500 please as deposit through pay pal within 24 hrs of auction end  and until the rest of the funds clear the cars mine. No test pilots. Car located in Surrey.

Oh yes and its got good rubber all round and an intermittant fault on the oil gauge
