Hi, this auction is for my beloved fiesta xr2... This car if you look at the pictures may look a bit shady but.... it isnt. Ive owned this car for nearly three years now and since ive had it its been sat in the garage. Ive had the intention of turning this car into a road legal track car but due to other responsibilities ive been unable to realise this dream so now its time to let it go to someone who will love it. Plus im moving so nowhere to keep it.. Anywayy... about the car. Its a 1985 model first year of the mk2s. First the bad bits.... The bodywork... to be fair it needs a bit of dent repair and a full respray but considering the car is nigh on 25 years old its not to bad although it will require both front and rear bumpers and lower skirt. also the bolts to hold the bonnet on are missing. Rust.... there isnt that much considering its age. The main part is the battery tray this will need replacing in order to pass an mot and there is a small amount of rust in the rear arches aswell as round the sunroof. As for the rest of the car there are a few bits of rust here and there but nothing of any real significance.The good bits.... The major thing is the chassis and sills these are virtually rust free and anyone who knows these cars will know that is a very rare thing. This is mainly due to the car spendin 17 years of its life in spain and only being used very rarely when its owner (a close mate of mine) went there in the summer months. The floor pan is imaculate as is the spare wheel well. The engine sweet sweet sweet. purrs like a kitten and pulls like a train starts straight up and the auto choke operates as it should although it will need a new battery. Theres loads more i could say about the car but i hate typing.. so if you want to know more either drop me a mail or call me on 07947737991. p.s the car will come with the bucket seats as seen in the pictures and the full original interior minus the rear quater panels.  I feel that the start price is modest considering if you spend about 5 to 800 the car will easily be worth 3000 to 3500 there getting rare now so gaining in value. cheap to insure too classic car policy i got quoted 110 quid for the year fully comp....
