1985 57cm Joe Waugh Pista Reynolds 531 Track Bike Fixed

Hand Built by Dave Yates in 1985 (for seller ) when he was at M Steel Cycles frame no MS 1169. Reynolds 531 track specific tubing, round track forks with front brake drilling (no brake hole for rear brake). Built with investment cast long point lugs without cut-out for rigidity. Also built with lovely investment cast Cinelli bottom bracket (significant extra cost). Nice fluted seat stay ends. Geometry tight enough for Manchester Velodrome. 57cm from BB to top tube (centre to centre) and 57cm top tube. Original paint job had Joe Waugh markings (all M Steel frames were either Joe Waugh, Dave Yates or M Steel branded –choice of buyer). Re-spray by Fleet Engineering (Kevin Winter) in approx 1990. the bike has only ever been used on the track with the exception of a couple of time trials when a front brake was fitted. Never seen the rain, never damaged. Paint work shows lots of minor scuffs and chips associated with transporting to and from races but frame is in good condition and would be like new with a re-spray. Photos show wheels and bars to better show angles/clearances. Complete with Shimano 600 EX headset and steel XT seatpin if wanted.
