Here we have my 1984 Lancia Gamma 2.5ie with factory converted manual gearbox finished in Grigio Chiaro metallic silver which currently sits on 37,020 genuine miles on the clock most o fwhich is documented in the service record book up to 18,000 miles. Quite rare with such low miles AND has the much desired Air Conditioning which still works. In all this requires TLC and the price reflects this.
This car has been in my pocession since late 2003 and has only covered about 600 miles from then until early 2004, car was then removed from the road and garaged. Since then it has had it's 36,000 mile service which included, new plugs, leads, dizzy, rotor arm, coolants, oils and lubricants. The only things that weren't done was power steering fluid as it was fine and is responsive and gearbox oil which again is fine and the cam belt, which I do have in the boot of the car but not the tool to replace it I am afraid. When I bought it I had it waxoyled and then topped up just before Christmas 2007, it's had a major overhaul on most of the electrics and nearly all earthing faults were corrected bar two - Drivers side central locking and the fuel gauge(this is wiring as I had a brand new fuel gauge with float fitted which works,it's all down to earthing now) Exterior lights all work as do interior but the rear courtesy lamp and map reading lamp need replacement bulbs. Car has just had 4 brand new tyres fitted and have only covered 6 miles. Both electric windows work, passenger side central locking works, puddle lamps work, the period AM/FM stereo cassette works but is not wired in, also comes with spare (untested) roof headliner was replaced about a year ago and although not original colour I thought it always looked nice and could be stained to match the rest if wanted, I just couldn't work with it sagging in my face all the time. Digital interior clock works fine, temp gauge works fine and the fan always kicks in, good oil pressure is always maintained especially under load. Had a brand new bosch fuel pump and new front bumper as sometime in it's life has had a scrape on the one wing which damaged the left hand side of the bumper. Wing is still a little crumpled and drivers door pin has dropped, cna still open and shut it ok butwould need seeing too. Interior is in very good condition for the year but sadly the drivers seat has some premature wear.
The main thing with this car is cosmetic issues with surface rust and surface bubbling, it's always been garaged and hasn't seen the road since 2004 but has always been started and allowed to warm up with the occasional movement to keep everyhing un seized, and has always been valeted on a monthly basis to keep the paintwork looking lovely and the interior fresh. Main reason for sale is I am losing my garage space and can't continue to keep so many cars.
This does have an MOT as I originally was going to put i ton the road, but never got around the checks to make sure it was roadworthy because it stood for several years before I came to own it,previous owner was a local doctor and drove it 14 miles a day I beleive.
Car comes with some spares, Handbook (not original), service record book, workshop manual, parts manual and V5.
Email for higher definition alrger pictures, this car woul dsuit a collector or enhusiast who knows how to run them and keep them on the road. Car is sold as seen and comes with no warranty. Low price reflects the amount of time it has stood and surface rust areas with the little niggles that need sorting to make ti perfect. I think I have covered everything, if there is anything else I can think of I shall post it on here.
Viewing available at anytime and is encouraged so you can see it all over and the photographs do not do it any justice compared with the naked eye. This way you know what it is actually like. With a bit of time money and care and the right know how this car could be truly stunning.
