BARGAIN OF THE YEAR! YOU WON'T FIND CHEAPER THEN THIS!
Bodywork in in overall good condition in very shiny Bronze Metalic considering the car is 25 years old...
There are a few blemishes which I would like to point out that are difficult to spot in the photo but can be seen upon closer inspection...
There is some bubbling around one of the rear wheel arches around the size of a 50p and there is some around the front headlight. There is also a mark on the drivers door by the edge and there could also be other marks I have not noticed. I must say though, the car does look really good and you have to look for the blemishes...
The interior is in an ok condition with leather upholsory. There is about 3 small rips, but this can be fixed with stitching as the thread has comes loose where it used to be stitched together. You have people/professionals who do these sort of stitching. It can be fixed, that's for sure and it might cost you a few quid. The wood is superb apart from some tiny tiny delamination on one part of the heater controls. The inside is obviously watertight with no leaks from anywhere. The only thing to mention here is that the sunroof does NOT work but is watertight. The roof in the inside has a few spots of damp as the car has been a few times off the road (SORN) in the past and kept in a garage several times, but this can also be cleaned. But then again, if you don't look up then you won't notice it. Totally up to you how fussy you are or not. Everybody likes it in his own way....
It also passed the MOT recently in JAN 2008. Bare in mind the car has BRAND NEW Tax till December 2008...
There aren't any fluid leaks at all (water, oil, power steering fluid, breaks gearbox etc)...
The Engine is perfect. It will start after a weeks standing straight away. The torque of the engine at half throttle is amazing. There are no funny noises or tappet sound with this engine. The engine is actually Rolls Royce quiet when cruising. The gearbox is smooth and changes up and down. Kickdown also works...
The car has been previously welded in some places but subsequently undersealed and passed through the MOT without any advisories...
The car has also had a full set of new Continental tyres (1000 miles) which are BRAND NEW and are worth already £600/£700! The car also was treated to an oil change just after I had it...
It has covered around 90.000 miles. It has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY and it has had about 17 Service stamps which is a service almost every 5.000 miles! Well looked after as you can tell and is for that reason mechanically in excellent condition...
The car is super fun to drive with the superlight (and noiseless) power steering. The car really gets noticed around town and has lots of admirers. I have recieved only positive kind comments about the condition of the car...
The car is a 4.2 so is not super economical but driven steadily does not break the bank. It takes around £35 per tank (there are 2) and the switch between the 2 happens seamlessly...
So there we have it,
A super Jaguar, in great condition. Because of the age, the tax is the same as a 1.6 and has not changed in the budget...
The car is in the paper so may be removed. You are obviously welcome to have a look at the car at any time. Viewing and collection to take place in Radlett...
Bare in mind that when this car in mint condition it is worth around 6K or 8K, so I guess you get what you pay for with this car. However if you spend some time and some TLC to the car you will get a winner back, trust me. And you get a lot of car for you money as the drive is amazing..I have to sell the car as had a few cars on the drive and my girlfriend had enough and want 'm gone!! You know how it goes sometimes..;-) So if you want a bargain then this is your chance...
I recomend viewing. The car is located in Radlett. WD7
Any questions then please call on 07934757735...

On 07-May-08 at 13:12:03 BST, seller added the following information:07/05/08 For your information; The logbook has not received as of yet. Hopefully it will come through before the auction ends, what I think will happen, which basicly means I am typing this for no reason. However if it doesn't then the best I can do is send it to you as soon when I have it. I guess for most of the people this is not a problem. However I need to let you know before you bid from today onwards. It's NOT stolen, so no worries there! It's just the DVLA who take their time as usual. But there you go. Any questions don't hessitate to ask. Best regards. Christian
