1982 PORSCHE 924 GOLD

For sale is a 1982 Hell bronze Porsche 924. I purchased a few years ago as a restoration project and in that time I have fitted:

~ reconditioned the brakes which includes brand new rear drums (sprayed in high temp red brake paint), goodridge braided brake lines all round (£45), rebuilt calipers (sprayed in high temp red paint) new pads both back and front.(This lot alone would cost you in excess of £200 alone.)

~New exhaust (cost £100)

~New battery (£50)

~New drivers side sill fitted and primmed (genuine Porsche £85)

~New fuel lines and line from the accumlinator (£40)

~Copper brake lines all round (£40)

~New tyres (spare set of 4 wheels included)

~New wheel bearings all round

~ I also refurbished the fuel pump

~ New water pump

~ New cam belt

~ Reconditioned radiator 

The car also includes a number of spares which include spark plugs, air filters, oil filters, electric window motors, wiper blades and a new bonnet cable.

My dream was to finish this project but due to personal circumstances I now have to sadly sell it.

The car really needs a full repray. The interior is ok with the usual cracks on the dash board. The drivers seat has two holes in it but it is OK! The windows go up and down slowly but once you have it all running straight again these are an easy fix.

To get it through an MOT it will need a new window washer pump fitting and a good service. It was running last week until I changed the spark plugs, I have a feeling that it is the HT leads that are knackered so these probably need changing as well. I will endeavour to get it running again by the of the auction. The car is listed with a £250 start price. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is advertised locally. Please do not contact me to ask if I will end the auction early and no overseas bidders please.

You will need a trailer to pick this up (with a winch unless I can get it going) as it has no MOT or tax. You could break the car for a lot more money than it will go for but I do not have time to finish it or break it. Pick up will have to be within a week of the end of the auction.

It does look a bit rough but would very easily get back on the road with a weekends work.
