i have had this car a short amount of time, but i have put soo many hours in to it, and a lot of money.

it is taxed until the end of febuary and mot'ed until february 4th 2010

when i bought the car it had been used as a track car by chorley street garage in bolton.

i have since put an interior in from a genuine 40,000 mile car,

the interior is not the correct one for the car as it should have blue and white pin stripes.

i have an interior in the correct colours which needs a clean if the winner wants it at extra cost or exchange for the current one.

i have re-fitted origional xr2 wheel arch extentions.

in great condition with origional studs on the rear.

gloss black bumpers.

badgless grille.

new headlights.

it has spax supension with 100mm lowering springs at the front and 120mm 500lb springs at the back

in the pictures there are supersport wheels and mk2 xr2 rs seven spokes with near new 175 50 13 tyres.

the winner can choose the wheels they want.

i have fitted the optional extra green tinted glass all around.

it has black pressed number plates. yes there ilegal but the look so much better.

comes with legal ones to go over them if you want to drive it home.

the car has had minimal welding, with repairs to the lowerer rear corners.

it has all origional panels.

i have painted a very clean replacement (ford items) bonet and boot as they were matt black when i got it

they are slightly off colour, along with the passenger rear 1/4 which i painted as it had bad scratches.

 (only to about 6 inches into the 1/4 panel and up the c-pillar)

the rest of the paint is origional. it had been meticulously polished and buffed all its life as the corners a wearing through slightly.

i was going to paint it this winter but have decided to let it go, so i can get on with my supersport.

in the engine bay the struts are wearing through the paint. see in the pics.

i have rebiult a new engine recently, which has done no more than 500 miles.

it has had a lightened and balanced bottom end including the flywheel, revs freely to 7500rpm

it has an ap paddle clutch

it has 1300 +60 thou AE pistons.

it has a burton high preasure oil pump and a baffled sump.

the cam is standard, to keep it a bit more drivble,

the last engine i had in it was fitted with a kent 244 cam and it was a bit horrible unless you were over 3000 rpm's

it has a stage 2 head fitted with 39.5mm inlet valves and 34mm exhaust valves.

it has 220lb valve springs unleaded seats.

it has steel rocker posts.

an alloy rocker cover.

the greabox is a standard xr2 4 speed.

it has twin 40 weber DCOE carburettores, which have been setup by Ian Gorrie motor engineers, (historic touring car buff)

who setup the engine aswell timing etc.

i have some reciepts for engine work.

heat wrapped ashley 4 branch manifold

custom made exhaust 2" system

alluminium sump gaurd fitted

the car has been fully pollybushed with powerflex bushes.

all components have been powder coated Black or Silver.

it has compbrake alloy roller bearing top mounts.

it has grooved discs

with ebc yellow stuff pads which are amazing on track and for spirited drives.

goodridge braided hoses throughout.

the bodywork isnt mint. but its not been restored or had much welding, so what you see is what you get.
