In good working order. The machine is in exceptional condition, looks 2 years old, not 22. Cabinet, glass, frames all unmarked, I feel you will struggle to find a better example. The MPU is fitted with a brand new battery and is really clean with no damage/repairs. It's running on a MPS2 board and yellow label power supply fitted with brand new Rifa caps. A power lead is included but there are no locks fitted. It still runs on the old 10p and 50p pieces but also accepts 20p and £1 coins. Originally a £4 token jackpot, a previous owner has replaced the token mech with a 20p coin mech so it will now pay the jackpot in 20p pieces, as long as you remember to insert them in the right mech! It has been left on old coinage for maximum nostalgia but will require only a handful of old coins to operate. I have recorded a few minutes of it in action, to view, please click on the link below ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4K1p7T9rbI You are welcome to view and play the machine in person and if you would like to see more photos, please e-mail including a return address. I'm always happy to receive enquiries by phone (07801 699088) and chat with genuine collectors of old machines. If you have an older machine (1981-85, perhaps not working?), that you would like to throw into a transaction, please contact me to discuss. Payment on collection please but I'm happy to deliver locally. Alternatively, I can recommend John (DaveyTransport) who can deliver to most areas of England from £50 and can be reached on 07717 765404. It will be well wrapped if needed.
I collect machines built 1981-85, favourites include JPM System80, Maygay MMM, Barcrest MPU2/3, Summit Coin and the like. I'm always interested in finding and repairing these old relics, regardless of condition and parts are useful too. I currently need the following ... System80 "Fruit Snapper" lamp board, TopSprint reel glass. MPU2 boards, power supplies, rom carts, reel glasses and top perspex (ideally Lucky Strike, Hi-Lights and Spotlight) Nudges Unlimited or Silver Nudges glass/perspex. All to complete machines for my own amusement.
If you're interested in old machines but havn't already found the Mecca, you might wanna check this one out http://www.fruitemu.co.uk/vb/
