1980's House of Nisbet Bully Bear Collectors Ed MIB










This is a 1980's 18" House of Nisbet Peter Bull Bully Bear Mint in his original box.

Peter Bull is considered the "Father of Acrophiles", in 1969 he wrote, "Bear with me" (The Teddy Bear Book). The Bully Bears were made as a tribute to his efforts to recognise the emotional bond people have with their teddy bears. 

Bully Bear is 18" high and made from a mixture of mohair and pure wool, he is a lovely golden colour. He has amber and brown glass eyes and black nose mouth and claw stitching. He is in mint condition and comes with all his tags. He has the Nisbet label on his left foot.

He was designed and handmade by Alison Nisbet.

Bully is "A good listener and enormously helpful in solving his friends problems, big or small" and also looks very much like his grandfather!

He is adorable and comes in his original box with paste down description. The box is in good condition with some shelf wear.
