Here we have a honda XL185 with a CB125 engine fitted 1980 ‘w’reg
I bought this bike to ride with my son when we got him tracking bike but
he lost interest quite quickly and sold it and mine stayed in the garage but
for some reason I begun to spend money on it, it has had a new carb,rectifier.battery,Back
light lens all the bulbs renewed front,back and clocks the wiring was a bit
naff when I got it because the 185 had a cdi unit the CB125 has points but it
runs fine now I do not know the age of the engine
The chrome on the front wheel is quite good back wheel a bit
pitted .It has a micron end pipe
The tank and side panels are a bit rough one side panel is
cracked the seat was a bit rough and I have put thick tape on it and it does not
look that bad now I replaced the fork seals but the left hand side one still
weeps due to not sealing gaiter when I had finished no pitting on fork legs as
I say everything works apart from the headlight I think it just needs someone
with electrical knowledge
I have the log book but it has not been registered to anybody
for the last 8 years and nobody has
altered it for the 125 engine as it was bought as a off road bike never bothered to register it ,any questions please ask
