First of all sorry for all you previous bidders/wachers but e-bay said my listing was wrong for refering to a suzuki in title, anyway here goes I will see if I can remember what I wrote last time.
RARE
DAIHATSU F20 1979 4X4 LEFT HAND DRIVE
I brought this vehicle with the intention of going green laning every weekend but due to my house extension I have only used it a couple of times,it has a very solid chassis but for its last mot in december the whole of the rear tub had to be welded and is still finished in red primer. It starts first time and runs ok but carb could do with tinkering I was toying with the idea of fitting a diesel engine from a vauxhall nova (Isuzu turbo diesel 1.5) (whole car available to winning bidder for £150 if interested) but due to house no spare time. When I did take the jeep out it attracted lots of interest as most people had not seen one before,it states on the log book it is a van so it has been converted at some time.So to sum it up it is a rare useable four wheel drive which could give someone hours of fun but as its nearly 30 years old I feel I should point out the following
speedo not working (needs a cable)
front brake shoes low
engine smokey when cold
oil leak
carb needs work/tune
roof is just a removable piece of tarpaulin
rust patches
There are some good points
rareity value
tow bar with working electrics
free wheeling hubs
doors lift off in a second (good for trialing)
roll over bar (cant vouch for its strength if needed)
fitted with Rover 400 seats for comfort
all 5 tyres good
Once again sorry for having to relist. Please note, winning bidder to pay in cash on collection I strongly advise you to come and have a look before you bid to satisfy yourself as to exactly what you are bidding on it can be viewed in Crookham Village or just outside Hartley Wintney,Hampshire.
cash on collection please by sun 18th (later if pre arranged)
Good luck and happy bidding
