I am advertising this for a friend of mine, Adam, who is not on eBay. This bike is available to view in his shop at Dronfield Scooters, and he is available on 01246 411711 during working hours Tuesday to Saturday. He is closed on Mondays. Postcode is S18. His shop is on Wreakes Lane, please call and view this and his other classics he has for sale.
OK, the bike its self: It was in America and was brought back in very recent times. It is MOT,d until next July and taxed until 31.08.2010. I only have a couple of pictures of it unfortunately, but from these, you can see that the bike is reasonably tidy. Its starts, runs good, all the electrics work etc etc and its ready to go. Adam comments that its ideal to ride and restore as you go. With his eye for detail, I am sure he has spotted lots of little jobs to do, but at the price he wants, then it really is ideal for someone who wants a classic bike to do bits to whilst you go. Personally, I can,t see much that wants doing. I know the little button which is on top of the indicator switch is missing, so thats one job. The paintwork looks original, and theres a few scratches on top of the tank. Nothing serious, but again, possibly one of the items he is referring too. So, I,d say that this is for light restoration. In other words, you have got a complete, up and running bike here, with MOT, but one that needs details and tidying to make mint. I know that the standards on Japanese restorations is very very high, so it would need work to make mint. But it has to be remembered that this is a largely original / un-messed with standard bike that is 30 odd year old, and that some people actually prefer to leave them original, so the choice of what you do will be yours. OK, enough waffle from me. All I know is that its a cracking old bike. Smokes the yard up real good. Sounds wild, looks great, and goes like the very devil, and probably drinks fuel appropriately. Yours for a song, if you fancy re-living your youth and smoking round the local village grinning like an idiot ( I know I did ). Before you ask...... keeping the front wheel down is the real trick here. Finally, I,d say that the chrome on the wheels is very good, as is the chrome on the guards etc. I think it might be actually missing a rear guard, or maybe thats how they look ?. The chrome on the silencers is good, but not pristine, so again, i hark back to Adam talking about for cosmetic restoration. I think that its all down to how far you want to go, because they all look great to me. The tyres are fine, and the brakes feel OK.
Ring Adam. Don,t ring me because I know nothing........ I,m from Barcelona......
View it at his place from Tuesday morning onwards. Otherwise, good luck with the bidding.

On 21-Nov-09 at 17:10:07 GMT, seller added the following information:Following a couple of questions, I can confirm that it does not jump out of gear. All the gears are OK and theres no problem with any gear selection or jumping out etc. Its been out briefly today, and it worked fine. Indeed Adam thinks hes 17 again ( in his dreams) following the spin.
