LET ME START BY SAYING "I HOPE I DONT REGRET PARTING WITH THIS MACHINE". I REALLY DO LOVE THIS BIKE, BUT I AM GETTING NO YOUNGER AND I KNOW IT SOUNDS SILLY BUT I HAVEN,T RIDDEN IT AS MUCH AS I SHOULD LATELY FOR THE SIMPLE REASON IT IS TOO BIG AND HEAVY TO KEEP HAULING IT IN AND OUT OF THE WORKSHOP THROUGH TWO NARROW PASSAGE WAYS WHERE I HAVE TO GET MY 6FOOT 4INCH 16 YEAR OLD LAD TO MANOUVRE (LIFT)THE BACK END ROUND COZ THIS LARDY ARSED OLD GIT CAN,T MANAGE IT ALONE. I AM NOW BUYING A OLD AJAY (SOMETHING I CAN MANAGE).ANYWAY TO THE GUZZI,IT,S GENUINE MK1 WITH THE MOST IMPORTANT "VE" PREFIX ON THE ENG&FRAME NUMBERS, IT IS BELIEVED IT COULD BE THE FIRST REG IN THIS COUNTRY (9/1/76)DO YOU KNOW OF A EARLIER ONE? A FEW YEARS BACK IT WAS RE-BUILT, PLASTIC COATED FRAME NEARLY ALL FASTENERS AND SPINDLES STAINLESS, AND A ENGINE THAT IS OIL TIGHT,SMOKE FREE AND NO RATTLES.IT IS NOT TOTALY ORIGINAL FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT IT IS PUT TOGETHER TO BE RIDDEN AND ALL THE ORIGINAL GUZZI WEAKNESSES HAVE BEEN ILIMINATED, E.G. NOW HAS ELECTRONIC IGNITION, JAPANESE ELECTRICS UP-RATED FRONT BRAKES AND 40MM GUZZI FORKS INSTEAD OF THE DEADLY AND WEEDY 35 MM. THIS BIKE IS SEXIER THAN A ROOM FULL OF NAKED LADIES AND NEARLY AS MUCH FUN, IT HAS A GRIN FACTOR BIGGER THAN A DONKEYS DOO-DAH. JUST ONE MORE THING BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU HAVE JUST READ PLEASE DON,T GO OFFERING ME YOUR OLD AJAY OR MATCHBOX IN EXCHANGE AS I ALREADY HAVE A BIKE LINED UP AND I KNOW FOR CERTAIN THAT YOURS COULD NEVER BE AS GOOD. TAX ON THE GUZZLER RUNS OUT END OF THIS MONTH AND MOT RUNS OUT TODAY IF YOU WANT ME TO PUT A NEW MOT ON IT ADD 50£ TO TOTAL. BEST REGARDS AND HAPPY BIDDING FOLKS. TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER STUFF!!!!
