Good news for all you genuine ebayers that contacted me about this rs as it is now back up for sale and bad news for me as the winning bidder never turned up and messed me about now i have no where to store it so i am starting the auction with no reserve

 

I am putting up for sale my                        

Mk 2 Escort one of the Earlier Mrk2 RS2000 1976 Full Restored.

I purchased this at the beginning of the year after a friend restored it with intentions of taking it to classic car shows as you would be hard pushed to find another example of this genuine mrk 2 flat front ESCORT rs2000 restored to this condition as it was restored by a friend who took allot of care and attention to this rebuild and spent thousands I wont say how much you prob not believe as every new nut and bolt on the car was replaced (stainless steel) the car was striped to a bare shell with no expense spared and any new parts was put on the car was of the best that could be sourced hopefully by the end of the auction I should have all the receipts that was spent you would be shocked at the amount spent on this restoration .the engine is new with twin 40'S and has not been run in .

Car starts and drives but need twin 40 carbs tuned I should have this done before auction ends

Car has only had 3 owners last keeper REGISTERED ON LOG BOOKS WAS 1989

Interior original fish-net recaros .Will try upload more pics of interior as I was wanting to get it a valet before taken pictures as it is dusty inside and want good pictures as it is in excellent condition

I have a small list of things that have to be finished off to m.o.t the car nothing more than a £100 to complete

I have to source wiper arms as I am looking for some it tip top condition

couple of badges one for the centre of the steering wheel

1 badge for the back of the car

Needs a stereo I was wanting to put original one in it of course

Gear stick rubber boot

both rear side vents

bonnet stay

Carbs to be tuned

1 number plate light

There may be a couple of smaller things I have missed but nothing major these would not be hard to source yourself
