here we have my fully restored mk1 escort rs 2000 for auction. the car has undergone a full nut and bolt re build and was finished just last week. the car has just been taxedn and mot'd and is registered with the rs and avo owners clubs. *** this is a genuine type 49 rs 2000 no imitation and not a re-shell *** the shell has been acid dipped and zinc coated and built back up with every nut/bolt/cable and 95 % new parts where the originals were worn replaced. below is a list of work done to the car although i am bound to forget something so if any serious interest u can email me for more information. i have with the car the handbooks/reciepts/previous mots/and full photographed rebuild on cd. the reason for selling is that it has purely cost so much to restore ( as my attention to detail is stupid!) and a change in circumstances. outside full fabrication and body work rebuild (shell was very solid hasnt had floor pans and still has original inner wings with chasis no stamped on osf strut top plate) rear springs/axle/drums/front struts/cross member etc powder coated rear brakes all brand new incl adjs/spring kits/shoes/pistons etc bilsein shocks on rear with 2" lowering blocks new h brake cable front springs lowered 2" and uprated full polly bush kit braded brake hoses all round and new brake pipes wilwood 4 pot callipers with grooved discs on the front new steering rack with new tca's and track rod ends full respray in original olympic blue full rs 2000 decal kit all brand new badge kit cibbie super oscar x2 and cibie oscar x2 spots flat glass lamps all chrome work re chromed all new rubber seals throughout car 7 j rs 4 spokes with 175/50/13 yoko's inside custom centre consol custom wood pack pro tipo steering wheel full interior re trim (cost a small fortune !!!) engine original engine with the following work done to it ( engine has not even run in yet has done about 40 mile) 2.1 pistons shaved block to top of pistons bronze shells lightened and balance fly wheel knife edged crank up rated oil pump full stage 3 head with rl21 rally cam vernier pully double valve springs gas flowed ported and polished and matched up inlet manifold twin 45 webbers new water pump ashley 4 branh and 2 box system 4 speed box new clutch kenlowe fan with reg new coil and electronic ignition etc,etc,etc,etc !!!!! there really is too much been done to the car to be able to list everthing !!!
