1971 MZ Trophy jigsaw puzzle. It is loosely assembled and obviously needs a full restoration. It's a fairly good basis for a project as everything there seems to be in reasonable condition and the registered mileage is low, which is quite plausible. The bike was one of two owned by a chap in Surrey. Apparently he bought one and liked it so much he decided to have another identical one as a back up. He was the owner for most of the bike's life and then it passed on to someone else who unwisely took it apart. Apparently it was running before being dismantled.
As it is now it appears to be largely complete. Parts that are obviously missing are the chainguard and left hand toolbox and battery cover. On the plus side it has a number of extra spare items with it. What you see in the pictures is precisely what you get. Please do not buy and then complain when the drive side oscilatory pendulum bush is missing.
It is registered and comes with a V5c and is 1971 so is historic vehicle tax exempt class.
The bike shouldn't be too much of a headache for a competant restorer, all parts are available off the shelf and it's a lot cheaper and classier than a Bantam.
Delivery possible within most of England for £80, slightly more for the far flung corners and less if close to Bournemouth.
Overseas bidders welcome but you arrange delivery. Quite frankly it's probably not worth the expense!
No reserve and cheap starting price.

Addition 13 May. In response to a question I checked the mileage on the bike. I've made an embarassing mistake and thought that the last digit on the mileometer was tenths rather than full miles. The reading is just over 32k. So, sorry to mislead above, the mileage reading is in fact not low, but not particularly high either.
