Reliant Scimitar 30 ltr GTE  (1968 ) I bought it off Ebay a couple of weeks ago as a runner ( which it most certainly wasn"t ) After rewiring the ignition circuit etc it now starts with the key though its a pig to start ! It needs a good  going over, its running, but roughly ( missfiring etc and is very rich probably due to being stood some time and carb needing cleaning out ) Auto choke does work ok , not sticking ! The body paint is badly crazed all over,As had some filling on n/s wing, and needs finishing, chassis appears ok though I hav"nt been under the car to check, sills look to have been repaired, No footbrake but handbrake does just work !! The front vallance was in the boot when it arrived, would glass back on I suspect ! Drivers seat requires recovering, All gauges work as do lights indicators Kenlow fan etc...... Its not for the faint hearted as the car requires alot of work doing, I simply don"t have the time , I was under the impression it was an easy resto !!!!.. please come and view before bidding if not please look at the pics and make up your own mind, you will need a trailer to move it, ( I am away till friday, so won"t be able to answer any questions till then ).....  CASH on collection please, NO Paypal........... thanks !!  I"m  reliably informed that the car is the 47th GTE made with early petrol filler cap and quite rare and desirable now..........cheers.
