Old 1964 Air Lines 1/72 scale Westland P.V.6. Wallace - plastic model aircraft kit

Air Lines models were Frog kits produced in the US, under agreement with Pyro, using original moulds shipped over from England. The Air Lines scheme was set-up to avoid US import taxes, but proved uneconomic so lasted only two years - 1964 to 1966. Nearly all Air Lines kits were issued in 1964. The kit catalogue numbers are of interest - instead of the normal US practice of putting the price code after the catalogue number (as in 102:39), Air Lines incorporated the price into the number, so kit "7903" cost 79 cents etc.

Nice collectable kit, over 40 years old, full of nostalgia!

This item came to me second-hand and has been carefully checked. Parts are guaranteed, most still on sprue. Stand, instruction sheet and Air Lines catalogue are present in the box. Box is in good condition, but has a tiny repair to one end. Decals are missing.
