1963 Norton Navigator 350cc
This is a lightweight 350cc, "mini-dominator". Easy to start and fun to ride, fourstroke lightweight twin. It is nice and easy to get in and out of the shed and onto the stand, whilst still retaining the basic lines of the bigger Dominators. Starting is very easy (coil ignition) and the engine sounds good with no unusual noises and no smoke in the exhaust.
The charging system is working well and the lights are all good,
Handling is, as you would expect from a Norton, superb. Brakes are ok , but I would have expected better from the 7" front.
The small Smith's speedo is working well. Gearbox is good nice and positive.
I went for about a 8 mile ride when I photographed the bike. It was really pleasant to ride and didn't even leak a drop of oil!
The registration number is NFF 349 (cannot be transferred to another vehicle)

There is an MOT until April 2009 and historic class (free) road tax disc until 30th April 2009.
This bike is in very tidy condition. Not recently restored but well maintained and very presentable. It is not in show condition! The wheel rims are a little aged, but they are the original Dunlop items. Their chrome is faded a bit. Tyres are as new. There is a small rust patch on the offside silencer that looks potentially as if the silencer will soon need replacement or careful repair.
The frame has quality powder coating and the major items have a good standard of the correct-for-year polychromatic blue paintwork.
