I bought this little bike around 5 years ago, with the intention of one day going to Italy and joining in the Moto Giro D'Italia, another year and another Giro have just past and I really dont see myself doing it now so time to move on .
The bike was in running condition when purchased, and will probably still run fine after fitting a new battery Ive just lost interest, its an original UK import from 1962 , ie its lived all its live in the UK , probably a bit of a rarety as it cost as much as a Triumph Tiger 100 when new .
Well specified with borrani rims, paintwork was partially redone fairly recently and the seat remanufactured by Leightons of Birmingham a superb job. This is a four stoke overhead cam 175cc engine , with beautiful diecast alloy casings barrel and head, the engine is a work of art!
I have its original Buff logbook , a magazine test report and the current V5C in my name , the number is non transferrable as the bike was off the road for some years.
Give yourself a treat , compare this to what we were making , Bsa bantams and C15's , no wonder the British bike industry went down the pan.
