Attention PayPal Users: For your protection and ours, we adhere to PayPal's Seller Protection Policy, which requires sellers to ship to the address listed on the PayPal "Transaction Details" page, and that address must be identified as a Confirmed Address. PayPal can only "confirm" addresses in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. If you cannot meet that PayPal requirement, we will gladly accept US money orders and checks drawn in US funds on a US bank or International POSTAL Money Orders. Postal Money Orders are not available in all countries. If you have any questions regarding this policy or want to confirm your payment options, email before the auction closes. Exceptions are possible, but only if arrangements are made prior to your bid or purchase. You can also learn more about confirming your shipping address by logging into your PayPal account and typing "confirm address" in the SEARCH box at the top of the page. You are NOT required to add a credit card to your PayPal account in order to have your address confirmed. PLEASE NOTE: If you make payment with an unconfirmed address and I do not accept it, it may take a few days for PayPal to credit it back to your account.

We ship domestic and international orders via USPS and try to offer you the most economical shipping options. Delivery Confirmation is used for all shipments allowed by the Post Office. Flat items shipped in a regular size envelope, like postcards, do not qualify. S&H charges quoted include actual postage cost, delivery confirmation, and a nominal handling fee. All items are professionally packed, using new and gently used packing materials.
Insurance may be purchased at additional cost. It is always recommended for fragile items and required for large fragile items or those with a value of $100 or more. Although orders are packed securely for safe transit, we are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the Post Office while in transit. We normally ship orders within 5 days of payment receipt. Since we offer combined shipping and a choice of shipping options, we do not process and pack orders until they are paid for.
Attention International Bidders: USPS only offers three types of service for international shipments: First Class (available for shipments less than 4 lbs., insurance is not available); Priority (available for any size shipment but required for any weighing over 4 lbs. Insurance is available at additional charge and some indemnity coverage is provided free of charge), and Express (available for any size order). We add a nominal surcharge to international orders to defray the added labor costs of processing these orders. The S&H charges in the Shipping Calculator reflect your actual cost, except for any additional insurance.

MINT: Mint condition is normally meant to be the same condition as a magazine was when it was new. Since we deal in Vintage Magazines which have been pre-owned, we seldom, if ever, use this grade. Even when a magazine appears to be in Mint condition, we will grade it as Near Mint.
NRMT (Near Mint): Either looks like new or has very slight wear from mishandling either on the newsstand or during mail delivery; including minor edge wear, corner bumps, and light dimpling on the cover.
VF (Very Fine) : A possibly read, but carefully handled, magazine. Will have some light wear from handling or being read and may include such minor defects as loss of lustre, rubbing, a small tear on cover or page, a faint crease on cover or page, thumbing dimples, or a possible mailing label on cover (will be noted in description). Will be securely bound. No soiling or markings.
FINE: A magazine which has obviously been read but carefully handled and well-maintained. Cover may show wear, but will still be intact. Pages may show light signs of handling. Securely bound, no missing pages, no torn pages, no major tears, no paper peels, no taping, no soiling, no markings.
VG (Very Good): An average copy with signs of normal handling. May have a faded cover with considerable rubbing, dog-eared corners, a slight tear, creases, etc.
GOOD: Well read and handled carelessly with above average signs of wear or mishandling. Defects will be noted.
LIKE NEW (LN) or VERY FINE (VF): Book should be in the same immaculate condition in which it was published. There should be no defects, no missing pages, no library stamps, , no inscriptions etc. The Dust Jacket, if it was issued with one, should be perfect, without any tears, etc..
FINE (F or FN): Almost As New. There should be no defects or signs of wear. The jacket may have a slight tear or other minor defect which will be noted.
VERY GOOD (VG): A book that shows small signs of wear, but has no tears. Binding is secure. Any defects will be noted.
GOOD (G): An average, used and worn book. No missing pages. Any defects or major wear will be noted.
FAIR(F): A worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack endpapers, half-title, et cetera (which must be noted). Binding, jacket (if any), et cetera may also be worn. All defects will be noted.
POOR: A book that is so worn that its only merit is as a reading copy or to supplement a research or craft project. Will have complete text unless otherwise noted. May be soiled, scuffed, stained, or spotted and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, and so on.
Records are examined visually and tested on a turntable before grading.
STILL SEALED: An LP which is still sealed in its original factory shrink wrap. LP is assumed to be in mint condition. Sleeve will be graded visually and any defects or wear from storage or handling will be noted.
MINT (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record which looks like new. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): Record will show some signs of previous play and handling, but has been carefully maintained.. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable. A synonym used by some collectors and dealers for "Very Good Plus" is "Excellent."
VERY GOOD (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may have some writing, tape or stickers. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
GOOD (G), Good Plus (G+): Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.
