1961 KYSO Road Map LOUISVILLE Kentucky Churchill Downs

Handsome fold-out street plan of Louisville, printed more than 47 years ago.

This map opens to 18-1/2" x 25" and has great detail on old road alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.

On the reverse side there is a road map of Jefferson County, including Valley Station, Jeffersontown, Pleasure Ridge Park, and Anchorage.

The beautiful full-color artwork on the front cover depicts Churchill Downs — home of the Kentucky Derby.

The map was distributed by the Standard Oil Company of Kentucky (KYSO) in February 1961 and is dated in the legend.
