This is a mans vintage Seiko Sportsmatic model that dates from the 1960's and is in very nice original condition. The all stainless steel case measures 36mm across and 44mm from top to bottom. It shows almost no wear at all and has a signed snap-on caseback. The silver-satin dial looks very nice and has only very minimal signs of use that do not detract from the overall appearance. It has raised applied hour markers and large solid-cut silver hands as well as a sweep seconds hand, and the crown located flush into the case at 4 o'clock. The dial reads "Seiko Sportsmatic, Diashock 19 Jewels, and Japan Smaiss 592-5-50". Opening the watch we find a super clean high quality Nineteen jewel automatic movement that was built to compete with the Swiss watches of the day. It has been checked and oiled and keeps excellent time. We have installed a new black I.W. Suisse 19mm strap on this beauty and its ready to wear and enjoy.
