This charming vintage magazine is stylish. This is an enjoyable timepiece that is fascinating not just because it is old but because it is truly interesting.
Wonderful advertisements: the arrival of manmade fabrics are much advertised and admired for their qualities: wash easily, no iron, keep the shape and colour...... airlines are advertising as commercial flights to the US started only a year before; cigarettes are still big advertisers
CONDITION: Excellent
This vintage magazine is 49 years old and in remarkable condition. It is flat, sharp and the colour is bright. There is the tiniest wear on the bottom of the spine but it is very minor. This is the best example of this issue I have seen. Check-out the scans of the cover, it is the magazine on offer not a stock photograph.
STILL IN VOGUE has a policy of honesty in the description of the vintage and used magazines we sell. This may work against us in that we draw attention to damage and it sounds much worse than it is. Not all vintage magazine sellers offer individual condition reports so one is left to assume their magazines are all in mint condition. We hope however that you, the buyer, appreciate that we want to supply you with goods that will match or exceed your expectations and not dash them.
POSTAGE: Vogue issues vary in weight enormously so the postal charges reflect the cost. All parcels are sturdily wrapped to prevent damage in the post.
