Story of the Scottish theatre company run by Barrett. His account runs from 1938 to 1952. Frontispiece portrait of Clare Harris and some other b/w photo illustrations. 266 pages; book is 22 x 15 cm.

Jacket is showing its age and has tears, some mended with archival tape; jacket also has marks, browning & age soiling and is well rubbed; foxing to pages at times especially to edge of pages, noticeable brown spotting/foxing to edge of pages but generally decent inside otherwise.

First edition copies of this with any kind of jacket are now getting scarce.
