Guide to the Festival Pleasure Gardens published 1953.

36 pages paperback.

Size 9.5" x 7.5" approx.

Gives information on how the Gardens started - they were designed as a part of the Festival of Britain in 1951, and gives a suggested circular tour of the gardens and funfair.

Also gives information on entertainments including the famous free shows, a few of the unique features including the Schweppes Grotto and Guinness clock, children's attractions, new this year etc.

Well illustrated with colour and black/white photographs and also has a double-page centre map of the gardens with key to attractions.

The covers are slightly creased with a few light marks and rusting staples.

Inside there are some light creases with a heavier crease at the top of the last six pages otherwise an interesting item in overall good condition.
