This very attractive set of six vintage 1950s tumblers are sold in perfect condition with pristine interiors and no wear to the pattern or gilding.Contained within a decorative, gold coloured wire holder/carrier that has a circular base with another, larger circle above it that has six smaller circles within it that the tumblers sit in. The two circles are held in place with a split handle that curves over from one side to the other, joining in the centre and bound with a dark red, plastic strip that forms the handle.In the centre of the top circle is a decorative scroll work detailing. The glasses are 'torpedo' shaped with a narrow top and bottom with wider curved sides, they are made from clear glass then decorated with a gilded band top and bottom and a diamond and star design, 3 x black diamonds and white stars, 3 x red diamonds and white stars.There is no makers name that I can see but the glasses are well made, thin walled and quite light and the stand/carrier is very decorative, together they really sparkle and they would make a lovely addition to any household especially with the party season just round the corner.
