1997, English philosopher,
author, poet, critic and member of the Oxford based literary group The Inklings
which included J. R. R. Tolkein, C. S. Lewis, Roger Lancelyn Green and others.
Sometimes referred to as "the first and last Inkling", he worked as a solicitor
whilst writing extensively, particularly philosophy and literary criticism. Condition
